Today the FOM announced that Andretti will not enter the Formula One per 2025 or 2026. This won’t happen because the FOM under pressure of those horrible team owners don’t agree. It is a known fact that most of the teams are not happy with an eleventh team on the grid. It would mean that a team, which would be a pay driver’s team in the 1990s, like Williams and Haas will lose money. The sport became under the lead of the FOM has become one big terrible clown show no one likes. I truly hope the bubble will burst and have the teams whining and bagging for new teams on the grid. Even better, a breakaway series like Flavio Briatore was once planning with GP1.
Perhaps my naughtiest dream should come true, Formula One bleeding to death because of this clown show they produce. Hopefully a new Formula series raising from it’s ashes. It is a radical dream. However I start to believe it is the only we all get back to our senses in the sport. Probably, this scenario will not happen. Still it would not surprise if this is what eventually will happen with the Formula One.
Because with the entry denied for Andretti for 2025 or 2026 and maybe for 2028 available I don’t believe we can take this sport serious anymore. It became more and more a terrible shit show. “As the wheels turn” would be a better title for the sport. The soap it became is one big joke full with fulfilled teams. Who all lost view on the essentials of the sport. They forgot why they entered the sport. It is not about a show on Fancy Street circuits nobody cares about expect those self-righteous people in the Formula One.
What happened with the pure feeling of speed, excitement and the smell of burned rubber and burst eardrums? I mean why Andretti can’t be added to the grid per next year. Their package is a thousand times better then failed project like Haas and Williams are today. Backed by General Motors who are seriously about their future involvement for the Formula One.
Dear FOM and the rest of this terrible clown establishment, what is wrong with a new team on the grid? Yes, we had back in the days teams like Forti, Coloni, Osella, EuroBrun, Andrea Moda you name them. These teams who would struggle from the start to be even a bit competitive made the sport. Out of nowhere every now and then those teams did the impossible and scored points or managed to qualify in the front.
However, I understand you. The sport became one big show who don’t care shit anymore. I dedicated a couple of blog posts about this in the previous years. I probably knew deep down inside that Andretti would never be allowed. Maybe it is a good thing Andretti won’t enter this clown show at all. You are all living in a bubble that doesn’t exist run by shady money and people more shady then Andrea Sassetti himself!
Flav, deploy your Grand Prix 1 (GP1) series you were intending after you got banned from the Formula One and let it become the escape series that will let the Formula One suffer badly.
