See to be seen. Another blog where i’m complaining about the current state of the Formula One. I know if you know it better do it better! Sadly, the FIA and the FOM still have to answer my application for the managing position for operation clean sweep. Therefore, I annoy you with this blog. Since Liberty Media purchased the Formula One from Bernie Ecclestone a lot of good things have happened. However, the list of terrible things that have happened seems to equal the numbers since the last few years.
You guessed it; this blog is dedicated to the see to be seen people on the grid these days. Those who parade during a pit walk fancy and with their head far in the clouds or right in their own ass. It’s the type of people you ask a simple question and they will be offended. I don’t even want to call them celebs. They are just the ignorant see to be seen people who have no respect for the past, current and the future of the sport. The type that only arrives for the hype. Look I’m on the grid in Abu Dhabi, now I’m famous and important!
There is just this smug those people have on their faces that should be removed permanently from the grid, even from the circuits. There were days in the past that the celebs you saw on the track actually were interested in the sport. Who loved the smell of burned rubber, and were fin with destroyed eardrums due to the sound of thirty cars powered by V10 and V12 engines.
I really feel sorry for the sport that they getting overrun by the see to be seen people who have nothing to seek in the sport. Who lack any form of emotional connection with the sport. Those who are only there because they made some weird hiphop song you can’t understand while their signature is dress less to impress. Lacking any manners and respect. I believe that the sport has to halt a stop to this. As it will turn eventually badly for the image. Sure, celebs should be welcome on the grid if they really love the sport! Not to sell themselves with overhyped labels people can’t afford. Though will afford because… you know no reason.
There is also the part of the “security” officers who don’t give a damn about Formula One legends and don’t understand, it seems, what the sport means for many. I always question myself in those situations if they did their research before. Though, this is worth an article on it’s own.
