There is no undertone in the statement; all I would like to see is Maurizio Arrivabene to replace Mohammed Ben Sulayem as president of the FIA. Most of all, because Sulayem just ruined it with his current state of ruling the FIA. Sure, his announcement of the return of the V10 engines in the F1 is a masterpiece. However, I believe he only came with this to save his own position, which is heavily under fire at the moment.
As of today, his companion Robert Reid left the FIA stating that internally a lot goes wrong. Obviously, the FIA denied everything. I dare to believe that there is a rotten atmosphere within the institute at this moment. Sulayem is not free from controverses, which is not a problem for me. However, it is the way he is ruling the last few years. In the beginning, I gave him a chance and it seems back then everything would go well. How wrong could I be! It seems that his iron fist becomes more and more visible in the sport.
I mean who the hell gives a fuck if you swear with fuck on television? Why the fuck would you give a driver a penalty if he swears with fuck? Why don’t you just stop broadcasting those on board radios, which don’t add a single thing to the sport. It is time for Ben to leave the sport as well. Late Max Mosley did less things and got kicked out of his position because of a lie told by a paper that no longer exists.
Yes, I believe it is time for Maurizio Arrivabene to join office and clean office. He is the type of guy that should rule the FIA. He has charism, he is an Italian and yes also he has a lot of controverses surrounding him which makes him the perfect candidate for the position of FIA president. That he smokes is also a reason I would love to see him on the position.
